Inside is a true story from my relationship with my dad, a handwritten prayer, and a few simple invitations designed to help him intentionally love his child and preserve pieces of that love along the way.

The Letter
Each letter shares a true story from my childhood or teenage years about a moment I shared with my dad.
Some are funny. Some are tender. Some are about adventures. And many are simply about the ordinary moments we shared together.
Looking back now as his grown daughter, I can see how much those moments shaped me.
My hope is that these stories encourage you to notice just how much the ordinary moments you're creating with your child matter.

The Prayer Card
Every Intentional Dad receives a prayer that I have handwritten especially for him.
Before I place it in the envelope, I pray these words over the dad who one day will receive it. I may not know his name or know the season of fatherhood he is walking through, but I believe there is something powerful about knowing that someone is praying for you.
On the back is A Prayer for Today, a simple prayer Dad can pray himself throughout the month.
Whether prayer is already part of your everyday life or you're not quite sure where to begin, my hope is that this little card reminds you of something important:
You are being prayed for.
And you have a Heavenly Father who loves you.

Intentional Moment
The Intentional Moment is one simple invitation to spend intentional time with your child.
Each month, you'll receive one simple invitation inspired by that month's letter. It might be making pancakes on a Saturday morning, taking a walk after dinner, playing catch in the backyard, or simply finding a few minutes to do something together.
You have the entire month. Choose what works for you and your child, or let the ideas inspire something completely your own.
On the back, Hold Onto This offers one simple way to preserve a piece of the moment you're creating. A picture. A note. A memory. Something your child may treasure someday.
Nothing elaborate. Nothing perfect.
Just a little encouragement to be present in the life you're already living together.
Because someday, the handwriting itself may be part of the gift.
My dad's handwriting is precious to me now. There is something about seeing words written by his hand that holds a little piece of him in a way typed words never could.
This is a place to leave a little piece of yourself for your child.

The Keepsake
A little piece of you, preserved for your child.
Each month includes a Keepsake Card inspired by that month's story. On the front is an original pencil-style illustration and a simple reminder connected to the letter.
But the back is what makes it a keepsake.
You'll find one reflection question and a place to answer it in your own handwriting. It might invite you to write about a tradition, a memory, something you love about your child, or something you hope they'll always know.
Your answer doesn't need to be long. It doesn't need to sound profound. Just write what comes to your heart.
